Year in Pictures 2013

2013 has been an interesting year for Liberty Street.  A lot of ups and downs, but with the release of the new collection last month, I’m glad to say that this year is ending on a good note for us.  We hope you all enjoy this look back at 2013, but most of all we are excited about all the possibilities and opportunities 2014 will bring!

The XX in MNL

Apologies for the month long hiatus from blogging.  But rest assured your regular scheduled programming has returned and you can get back to learning about the latest Liberty Street news, the various causes we support, and all things related to living in the Philippines.  Speaking of which, English indie pop band The XX made it over here earlier this week and performed in the NBC tent.  I was pleasantly surprised to see that Up Dharma Down opened with a set featuring their songs from their latest album.  The main even was excellent as expected.  With their brooding demeanors, matching black outfits, and the trippiest light show I’ve seen, the band put on full display everything we’ve come to love about the music the English trio produces.  Here is to hoping more excellent music continues to be played in Manila!
